Outreach Programs

Wednesday Evening Outreach Suppers

Every Wednesday night, Memorial United Methodist Church hosts a supper for needy area residents. This meal is prepared and served by members of Memorial's congregation on the third Wednesday of every month. Suppers are prepared and served by various other area churches and organizations on the remaining Wednesdays of the month. This is a time of fellowship, a time to get to know those less fortunate, and a time to serve our brothers and sisters in Christ. Responsible individuals with a desire to help others and a willingness to cook, serve, and clean are encouraged to participate in this important mission.

Individual Missions at Memorial

Many of our members are actively involved in individual missions, such as collecting items for needy individuals, collecting labels for existing missions programs, and giving through the United Methodist Committee on Relief and the General Board of Global Ministries. These projects change from time to time and are listed in the church newsletter.
